Tiny Steps is not a content dump wrapped in an app shell. It is a product decision: keep the first screen gentle, keep the next step obvious, and never punish a missed day.
Te Puke Digital partnered with Vector Group Charitable Trust to design and build that experience — modern, fast, mobile-first, and SEO-ready — so a charity programme could reach whānau around the clock without adding overwhelm.
The product problem
Parents and caregivers are already carrying enough. A useful digital companion has to:
- load quickly on ordinary phones
- make “what can we do together today?” answerable in seconds
- feel like Vector Group’s care, not a startup growth loop
- stay free, clear, and trustworthy
What we built
A public site and signed-in app that centres Today, a living activity library, seasonal packs, and optional journal memories. The interface uses a shared brand system so Tiny Steps feels part of the Resilience Programme family — while staying focused on early childhood, not everything at once.
That same platform thinking now supports Home Steps — a household companion for renting, money, bills, employment, and readiness — so Vector Group can grow focused tools without rebuilding from scratch each time.
Why this matters for Te Puke Digital
We build websites and digital systems that help local organisations get found, get used, and get results. Tiny Steps is that brief in product form: clear purpose, calm UX, and a live service families can return to.
