Bringing the Tropics Online: A Look at www.troppo.nz

We recently had the pleasure of collaborating with TROPPO, a vibrant new venture, to build their entire online presence from the ground up. Our mission was to capture the essence of their brand – that feeling of escaping to a tropical paradise – and translate it into a compelling digital experience.

Troppo.nz centers its business around a passion for plants, particularly exotic and tropical varieties suitable for the Bay of Plenty region around Te Puke. Their core activities include cultivating and selling a diverse range of plants, including fruit trees, subtropicals, and rare edibles, often highlighting their suitability for creating urban food forests. Beyond sales, Troppo actively engages with the local community through workshops, garden tours of their urban food forest in Te Puke, and collaborations on initiatives promoting sustainable living and kai resilience. They also run an online platform featuring a blog with gardening advice, recipes utilizing homegrown produce, and a directory connecting plant enthusiasts with nurseries and suppliers across New Zealand, fostering a community around their shared love for plants and gardening.
